ABOUT

Catherine Corelli is a Russian-born American southerner mostly self-taught graphic artist with a background in design, traditional animation, formal training in visual arts, and a rediscovered passion for drawing and painting. Catherine immigrated to the United States in 2019 and landed in small-town America, in Kentucky's famous Bluegrass region. Once a big city girl, she is now in love with her state and its diverse wildlife, nature, and history.

Catherine found a particular passion for oil painting because of the unique flexibility and plasticity that this medium offers. At the heart, she’s a poetic impressionist seeking to capture the feel of a scene, its particular melody, its rhythm, and the music that lives within it.

Her goal is to provide original unique artwork that nourishes the soul. She creates smaller and bigger artworks ranging from small miniatures to large canvases. Most underframes are custom-made by hand and have a very unique feel to them. There’s beauty in imperfection, and there’s perfection in the lush Kentucky landscapes. Catherine believes that it’s her calling to show this beauty in her paintings.

Catherine Corelli is a painter and a musician. She paints her music with sound and sings her paintings in oil.
